1. a shot that shows a link between lyrics and/or music and visuals
the link is the lyrics in this shot. the lyrics are "Raisin' double trouble every time we pass them bye" and the dancers wave bye.
2. a shot that typifies the way a record company would want their artist to be represented
the record company would wont to represent the artist like this as she looks glamorous and the big close up shows her as the centre of attention, she is the star.
3. a shot that illustrates how your video uses music genre
i think this shot represents the genre of a pop song as they are dressed in stylish and glamorous clothing associated with pop and they are wearing lots of make up like a typical pop artist.
4. a shot that shows an intertextual reference
this shot is similar to chipmunk "diamond rings" in the changing room. it also has reference to the film Bugsy Malone in the changing room. but in my video there is a lot more colour.
5. a shot that demonstrates your use of camera
This shot is a panning shot from the light to hannah. the movement of the camera give the video pace and makes the shot more interesting than just cutting from the light to the performer.
6. a shot that demonstrates your use of lighting
we asked the junction to set up some of the lights in the performance area. the technician set up the lights for use to use. we then filmed shot from the best angle that "showed off" the light the best.
7. a shot that demonstrates your use of mise-en-scene
the lip stick is the front and center of this shot. it represents glamour and beauty, lipstick if for the lips emphasizing her lips singing, being a glamorous performer.
8/9. Two shots which you feel demonstrate something which shows you have watched other music videos
i think these two shots show that i have watch other music videos as my video has a dance routine lip many other videos. also a lot of music videos use out of focus shot like what i have used.
1. a shot that shows a link between lyrics and/or music and visuals
the link is the visuals and the lyrics. the lyrics are "makes a man go "whistle". in the visuals the singer whistles with the lyrics.
2. a shot that typifies the way a record company would want their artist to be represented
this shot shows the way the record company would like to represent the singer beyonce. in the shot she looks glamorous, sexy, curvy which the record company would wont to "sell"
3. a shot that illustrates how your video uses music genre.
this is a clear shot of 50 cent being a Gangster rapper. the shot is a stereotypical shot of a rapper in baggy "hip" clothing, with big bling.
4. a shot that shows an intertextual reference
the intertextural reference in this shot is eminem pretending to be on the ship of star trek with D.R.E as the captain.
5. a shot that demonstrates your use of camera
this is a good shot showing camera work as the camera lifts from the ground into a high shot over the dancers.
6. a shot that demonstrates your use of lighting
this is a clear shot of good lighting in the video "i need you" by N Dubz. the lighting in this shot makes it look 10 times better as it looks more interesting and also it works with the camera movement.
7. a shot that demonstrates your use of mise-en-scene
the mise-en-scene in this video is very good. from the costume of the extras to the buildings in the background, the van in the street and the tall chimneys in the background behind the buildings.

the similarities between the two album covers is that there is a big picture of the artist in the middle of the cover with bold text that stands out. the back cover is very similar as well as they both have plain backgrounds as it caries on from the background in the front cover.
i chose a scarface theme for my poster as it is an iconic and very recognisable poster which will draw in peoples attention to the poster.
